Definition
The donor antenna is typically mounted on the building roof and pointed toward the nearest public safety radio infrastructure (repeaters, towers). It captures the outdoor signal that gets amplified by the BDA and distributed throughout the building. Proper donor antenna selection and placement is critical for system performance.
